With Affiliate marketing you don't
have shipping, you don't take in money (so no merchant account), you
don't even have to have a website. Sounds great, doesn't it. Well it is
great.
How do you get paid, you ask? The company sends you a check
periodically. This is where some investigation (and reading the fine
print) pays off. Some outfits send you a check only if you have more
than a certain amount of money owed. This is understandable but you need
to know what that cycle and amount is. Some companies do not offer much
of a commission. It may cost more to promote their products than they
will ever pay you... not good, why bother. Others are great, which is
why it is worth doing.
